Assistant Director, Program Assessment and Operations

About the role

The Assistant Director, Program Assessment and Operations supports the Steinbright Career Development Center by overseeing program assessment, data analysis, and operational processes for co‑op and career services. Reporting to the Director for Career Services and Strategic Initiatives, this role is a member of the Steinbright leadership team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage co‑op program operations, including cycle setting, job search activities, and coordinator balancing.
• Lead data analysis and reporting for operational audits, employment reports, and annual data collections.
• Oversee the annual operations calendar and develop new policies and procedures.
• Supervise and mentor the Steinbright Data Analyst on audits, eligibility checks, and data requests.
• Coordinate special projects such as Middle States data requests, internal audits, Salesforce implementation, and migration from Hyperion to OBIEE.
• Maintain and improve systems (SCDConline, TimeTrade, AVT, RightNow) in partnership with IT departments.
• Provide trending information to academic units for curriculum review and accreditation (Drexel PAR, ABET, AACSB).

Required profile

• Experience in higher‑education program assessment, data reporting, and operational management.
• Proven ability to supervise staff and collaborate with academic and administrative partners.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data integrity and quality.
