Assistant Director, Recruitment & Outreach

About the role

The Assistant Director for Recruitment, Engagement & Outreach will support the undergraduate Law major at Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law. Reporting to senior leadership, the incumbent will translate the program’s unique value proposition to prospective students, families and external partners through a mix of in‑person and virtual events.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute year‑round recruitment events such as open houses, admitted‑student days, campus tours and virtual information sessions.
• Present the Undergraduate Law program to diverse audiences, answering inquiries via email, phone and text.
• Develop and maintain an integrated marketing and recruitment plan across print, digital, video and social media channels.
• Collaborate with law faculty, university admissions, communications and central services to align messaging and logistics.
• Manage event logistics including space reservations, catering and on‑site support.
• Expand relationships with alumni, employers and community partners to enhance visibility and support for undergraduate students.

Required profile

• Proven experience in higher‑education admissions, recruitment or related marketing roles.
• Demonstrated ability to engage a diverse student population, including first‑generation, low‑income and under‑represented groups.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and occasional Friday events.
