About the role

The Branch Business Manager I will lead growth and operational excellence for the Nekemte District branch, driving customer acquisition, sales performance and market expansion while aligning initiatives with the bank’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Drive customer acquisition, increase sales performance and expand market presence in the district.
• Mobilize and deploy resources to implement strategic initiatives that support the bank’s business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with risk management policies and regulatory requirements.
• Leverage digital tools to improve branch efficiency and enhance the customer experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field such as Marketing, Management, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or Information Technology.
• Minimum seven years of relevant experience, including at least one year in a supervisory role.
• Demonstrated leadership competencies including result‑driven mindset, coaching ability, customer insight and partnership engagement.
• Strong emotional intelligence, decisiveness and the ability to allocate resources effectively.
