Branch Business Relationship Manager – IFB (North Addis District)

About the role

The Branch Business Relationship Manager – IFB will lead business development for the bank’s Interest‑Free Banking (IFB) segment across branches in the North Addis District. You will be responsible for growing deposits, IFB financing and investment portfolios while promoting the bank’s full suite of products to existing and new customers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise, lead and control business development activities within the assigned branch network.
• Attract, deepen and manage financial relationships to achieve deposit and IFB growth targets.
• Promote and sell additional banking products and services to enhance customer value.
• Ensure compliance with Shariah principles, credit, risk and regulatory requirements.
• Drive networking and partnership initiatives to acquire and retain customers.
• Apply project‑management techniques to deliver results on time and within budget.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance or a related field.
• Diploma or certificate in Islamic Banking or Finance is an advantage.
• Minimum six (6) years of relevant banking experience, preferably in IFB or Islamic finance.
• Strong understanding of IFB operations, Shariah principles and associated risks.
• Proven leadership abilities with a results‑driven mindset.
• Excellent coaching, customer insight and partnership‑building skills.
• Ability to manage risk, leverage digital tools and make decisive decisions.
