Branch Business Relationship Manager – RMSME (West Addis Ababa)

About the role

The Branch Business Relationship Manager – RMSME will lead business development activities for the bank’s branches in the West Addis Ababa district. The role focuses on growing deposits and loan portfolios, deepening relationships with retail and MSME customers, and promoting the bank’s full range of products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, lead and control business development initiatives within the assigned branch network.
• Attract new customers and deepen existing financial relationships to achieve deposit and loan growth targets.
• Drive business growth in the Retail & MSME market segment.
• Promote and sell additional bank products and services to enhance value‑add relationships.
• Provide strategic guidance on sales and marketing practices to improve performance.
• Maintain compliance with credit, risk management and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• BA degree in Accounting, Marketing Management, Business Administration, Banking, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum six (6) years of relevant banking experience, preferably in Retail & MSME banking.
• Proven track record in business development, negotiation and networking.
• Strong understanding of credit, risk management and compliance.
• Ability to engage senior leaders and manage projects effectively.
