Branch Business Relationship Officer – North Addis District

About the role

The Branch Business Relationship Officer will drive business growth for Retail, MSME and International Financial Banking (IFB) services at a branch in the North Addis District. The role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers, ensuring high satisfaction and generating cross‑sell opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve branch targets for Retail, MSME and IFB banking through proactive relationship management.
• Retain existing customers and attract new ones by delivering excellent service across all channels.
• Identify and act on cross‑selling opportunities for banking products and services.
• Utilise core banking and digital platforms to streamline operations and enhance customer experience.
• Apply knowledge of Sharia/Islamic banking principles where relevant.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Management or a related field.
• Minimum four (4) years of successful experience in banking or a customer‑contact role.
• Training or coursework in banking operations (IFB, domestic, credit, international).

Required skills

• Core banking system proficiency.
• Familiarity with digital banking platforms (e‑banking, mobile apps, USSD, SMS).
• Understanding of banking products, pricing and Islamic banking principles.
