Cash Consortium Lead

About the role

The Cash Consortium Lead provides strategic, operational, and coordination leadership for the Ethiopia Cash Consortium (ECC). Reporting to the Senior Programme Lead – ECHO Portfolio, the role ensures high‑quality, cost‑efficient delivery of multi‑purpose cash assistance across consortium partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the consortium’s coordination, harmonisation, and implementation oversight across all partners.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to donors, consortium governance bodies, and humanitarian coordination mechanisms.
• Facilitate collaboration, strengthen accountability systems, and promote shared learning among consortium members.
• Oversee risk and compliance, including adherence to SCI fraud, bribery, and corruption policies and child safeguarding requirements.
• Represent the consortium in external forums and maintain effective information sharing.

Required profile

• Senior professional with extensive experience in humanitarian cash assistance programmes.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑partner consortia and manage donor‑funded projects.
• Strong knowledge of ECHO requirements, humanitarian coordination mechanisms, and child safeguarding Level 2.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
