Civil Engineer (Freelancer) – Addis Ababa

About the role

We are looking for a Civil Engineer (F/M) to join our team in Addis Ababa on a freelance basis. You will contribute to international projects focused on fall protection systems and timber construction, working in a dynamic, innovative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions for fall protection projects across multiple countries.
• Explore and apply timber engineering concepts to client requirements.
• Create and maintain calculation tools to support engineering analyses.
• Collaborate with international teams to ensure project success.

Required profile

• Proficient with AutoCAD and other design software.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; a master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience in timber construction and fall protection systems.
• Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a collaborative mindset.
• Fluent in English.
