Construction Materials Sales Executive

About the role

The Construction Materials Sales Executive will work full‑time on‑site in Addis Ababa, promoting Prasino’s range of construction products to contractors, developers and retailers. You will be responsible for generating new business, nurturing existing client relationships and ensuring timely order fulfilment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across residential, commercial and infrastructure projects.
• Visit client sites, present product features, pricing and prepare quotations.
• Negotiate sales terms, follow up on orders and coordinate delivery with logistics.
• Monitor market trends, collect customer feedback and align stock levels with demand.
• Maintain accurate sales records, prepare regular reports and support promotional activities such as trade shows and product demonstrations.

Required profile

• Strong sales and customer‑relationship skills, including prospecting, negotiation and account management.
• Knowledge of construction materials, their applications and ability to explain technical features.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities in English and local languages.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and CRM or sales‑tracking tools.
• Independent work style, effective time management and ability to prioritize multiple client needs.
• Previous experience in construction materials sales or related industry is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel frequently within Addis Ababa and surrounding areas.
