Consultant – Life Skills & Employability Skills Refresher TOT

About the role

SOS Children’s Villages in Ethiopia is seeking experienced consultants to deliver a three‑day Refresher Training of Trainers (ToT) on Life Skills and Employability Skills. The assignment supports the STEP A.A Project’s goal of strengthening the capacity of its training pool to provide high‑quality, market‑responsive services for youth.

Key responsibilities

• Design and facilitate a three‑day refresher ToT program for 30 trainers.
• Enhance participants’ technical competencies and facilitation techniques.
• Cover thematic areas including Life Skills, Employability Skills, Business Scale‑Up, Digital Financial Services, Financial Literacy and Digital Marketing.
• Provide practical exercises, case studies and feedback to ensure trainers can apply learning in their contexts.
• Submit a final report summarizing outcomes, trainer assessments and recommendations for future training cycles.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering Training of Trainers programmes in the fields of life skills, employability or related sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to work with youth‑focused NGOs and donor‑funded projects.
• Strong understanding of the Ethiopian training landscape and cultural context.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills in English.
