Customer Support Officer – Paid Internship

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic, customer‑focused individuals to join our Customer Support team as part of a paid internship. The role offers hands‑on experience with enterprise software, digital platforms and real‑world client interactions, while developing professional communication and problem‑solving abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, WhatsApp and social media.
• Provide accurate information about products and services.
• Register, document and track support tickets.
• Escalate technical issues to the appropriate technical teams.
• Follow up with customers to ensure timely resolution.
• Assist users with account registration and basic system usage.
• Prepare support reports and maintain documentation.
• Support product demonstrations, onboarding and training sessions.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or final‑year student in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, Computer Science, Management or related field.
• Excellent communication in English and Amharic.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and willingness to learn.
• Basic computer proficiency and good time‑management skills.
