Digital Marketing Manager – Media Buying

About the role

The Digital Marketing Manager – Media Buying leads the planning, execution and optimisation of paid media campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, YouTube and programmatic networks. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Director, the role combines strategic media buying, budget stewardship and team leadership to drive measurable ROI.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement media buying strategies across Google Ads, Meta, YouTube and other digital ad networks.
• Optimize audience targeting, ad placements and spend to meet performance goals (reach, impressions, engagement, conversions).
• Lead and mentor Media Buying/Performance Specialists, coordinating with Creative and Content teams.
• Analyse campaign data against KPIs (CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS) and provide actionable optimisation recommendations.
• Manage campaign budgets, monitor utilisation and report on efficiency and ROI.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends, emerging platforms and best practices, testing new tools to maintain a competitive edge.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of experience in media buying or performance marketing with a proven record of high ROI.
• Previous experience leading or managing a team is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Ads and YouTube advertising platforms.
• Experience using programmatic ad networks and audience‑targeting tools.
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting KPI data and optimizing campaigns.
• Budget management and performance reporting capabilities.
