About the role
The driver will transport staff, visitors and project‑related errands for the Horti‑LIFE GREEN GROWTH initiative, ensuring safe and timely arrivals. In addition to driving, the role includes fleet management, routine vehicle maintenance, and basic administrative support for logistics activities.
Key responsibilities
- Operate the vehicle safely, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
- Clean, fuel and inspect the vehicle daily, checking inventory such as first‑aid kits and spare tires.
- Identify and report any damage, arrange periodic servicing, and keep insurance and tax documentation up to date.
- Transport passengers and deliver parcels or documents within the designated area according to travel arrangements.
- Perform basic technical checks (oil level, tyre pressure) and address minor malfunctions; coordinate more complex repairs with the supervisor.
- Maintain a logbook of trips, fuel consumption, incidents and accidents.
- Support other staff by picking up and delivering messages, documents, packages and assisting with logistical requests.
- Plan transport schedules, coordinate with other drivers and liaise with suppliers or garages as needed.
Required profile
- Ability to follow safety and traffic regulations consistently.
- Willingness to keep the vehicle clean, fueled and properly stocked.
- Capability to record driving activities accurately and report incidents.
- Readiness to support logistical tasks and coordinate with supervisors and external service providers.
