EU CARE4HEALTH Project Evaluation & Audit Consultant (6 months)

About the role

UNICEF is seeking an experienced consultant to lead the closure of the EU‑funded CARE4HEALTH project in Ethiopia. The role focuses on coordinating the end‑line evaluation, ensuring audit readiness, and finalising all project documentation within a six‑month timeframe.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day activities for the end‑line evaluation and audit preparation.
• Compile final reports, closure documentation, and stakeholder dissemination materials.
• Monitor and follow up on remaining closure actions, including any outstanding construction matters.
• Ensure all deliverables meet UNICEF and donor standards for quality and timeliness.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in social sciences, public health, statistics or a related field.
• Minimum five years of professional experience in public health, sexual and reproductive health planning, or related areas.
• Proven experience in project evaluation, audit readiness, and managing multi‑stakeholder closures.
