Experienced Storekeeper – Finishing Materials

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, honest, and detail‑oriented Storekeeper to manage our finishing materials warehouse in Addis Ababa. The role is full‑time and on‑site, supporting smooth sales operations and high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and inspect imported shipments of finishing materials.
• Organise, label and store stock such as fiber cement boards, trims and accessories.
• Issue materials to customers and maintain accurate bin‑card records.
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and report stock levels daily to the sales coordinator.
• Keep the warehouse clean, safe and well‑organized.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Accounting or a related field (Grade 12 with strong experience may be considered).
• Minimum 3 years of storekeeping or warehouse experience; experience with construction or finishing materials is a strong advantage.
• Honest, trustworthy, detail‑oriented, punctual and able to work under pressure.
• Team player with a strong sense of responsibility.

Required skills

• Strong counting and numerical accuracy.
• Basic computer skills – Excel, Word, email.
• Knowledge of stock cards and bin cards.
• Proficiency in packing and unloading materials safely.
• Good communication in Amharic and English.
• Familiarity with standard warehouse and inventory management software (desirable).
