Finance Manager – Ethiopia

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead the financial operations for our Ethiopia business, ensuring accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and effective cash‑flow management. This role supports both strategic and operational decisions across the retail/FMCG environment.

Key responsibilities

• Effective management of financial systems, audits and internal controls within Ethiopia.
• Accurate and timely processing of monthly accounting transactions.
• Preparation of financial management reports on schedule.
• Management and control of cash‑flows, working capital and budgets.
• Leadership of the finance team, providing mentorship and performance oversight.
• Provision of strategic and operational financial support to internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaboration with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment of financial objectives.

Required profile

• BS/MA degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
• Professional qualification such as CPA or equivalent.
• 5‑8 years of financial management experience in retail/FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian statutory legislation and regulations.
• Excellent time‑management, organization and problem‑solving abilities.
