About the role
VSO is looking for an experienced Finance & Operations Manager to lead grant financial management, risk and compliance, and donor reporting for a large consortium programme. The role also oversees key operational functions such as procurement, asset management and logistics.
Key responsibilities
- Manage grant finances, risk, compliance and produce donor reports for a multi‑partner consortium.
- Oversee procurement, asset management and logistics operations.
Required profile
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Management or related field.
- Significant experience in donor‑funded finance and grants management, including handling restricted grants of £5 million+ per year.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, audit and partner‑management capabilities.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA or CIMA are highly desirable.
- Proven people‑management and collaboration skills across consortium partners and multiple stakeholders.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel.
- Experience with SUN Systems and Q&A XL.
