Full Stack Developer (AI-Driven)

About the role

Techally, a technology consulting firm in Addis Ababa, is looking for a well‑rounded Full Stack Developer who leverages AI tools to accelerate development while maintaining high quality. You will own features across the stack, using assistants such as Cursor for scaffolding, testing, and refactoring, and you will work on modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks as well as other languages when client projects require them.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and iterate full‑stack applications using React, Angular, NestJS and NX monorepos.
• Apply AI‑assisted coding tools to speed up design, implementation, and code review without compromising understanding.
• Develop automation or AI‑enhanced features as product needs evolve.
• Support deployments on cloud platforms such as AWS, Vercel, and Supabase.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience delivering full‑stack solutions, with TypeScript/JavaScript as your primary expertise.
• Ability to work beyond the browser/server layer, using at least one of Python, C#, or Java for production tasks.
• Strong attention to detail in typing, API design, data modeling, and error handling.
• Proven habit of using AI tools to increase productivity while maintaining code quality.
• Adaptable, bias for shipping useful software, and clear communication when blocked.
