Fullstack Engineer

About the role

Expanse is looking for a Fullstack Engineer to help shape AI‑powered workplace tools. You will work closely with product, design and engineering teams to deliver a high‑quality, performant user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, develop and maintain React/Next.js/TypeScript front‑ends.
• Design and implement scalable Node.js backend services.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs that connect front‑end and back‑end.
• Optimize performance, security, accessibility and responsiveness of the application.
• Write clean, modular, well‑tested code and contribute to technical architecture.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to prototype and ship product features quickly.
• Identify and resolve technical debt, bugs and performance bottlenecks.
• Mentor peers and foster an inclusive engineering culture.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience delivering production‑grade full‑stack web applications.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, accessibility and design systems.
• Passion for building polished, high‑performance software.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and collaboration skills.
• Genuine interest in AI/ML and its impact on the future of work.
