About the role

Nia Babysitting Service is looking for a dedicated full‑time babysitter to join our on‑site team in Addis Ababa. You will provide a safe, nurturing environment for children of various ages while supporting families with flexible childcare schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise playtime and organize age‑appropriate activities.
• Assist with daily routines such as meals, hygiene, and rest periods.
• Maintain a clean and secure play area.
• Communicate daily updates and any concerns to parents or guardians.
• Support children’s social and emotional development, including light homework assistance.

Required profile

• Proven experience working with children in group or individual settings.
• Strong reliability, punctuality, and ability to follow schedules.
• Patience, empathy, and a caring attitude toward children and families.
• Basic knowledge of child development and age‑appropriate activities.
• Willingness to work full‑time on‑site with flexible shift coverage.

Required skills

• First aid or CPR certification (preferred).
