General Accounts Supervisor

About the role

The General Accounts Supervisor will lead the statutory trial balance and overall general accounting activities for the entity. Reporting to the Entity Finance Manager, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, audit coordination, and timely month‑end and year‑end closings.

Key responsibilities

• Manage internal and external audit processes, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Review financial transactions and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Oversee accruals, advances and down‑payments, ensuring proper tracking and follow‑up.
• Coordinate month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Prepare and monitor Key Account Reconciliation (KAR) and resolve outstanding issues.
• Support the preparation of the Group Trial Balance.
• Follow up on outstanding ledger items and ensure timely resolution.
• Lead and develop team members to ensure performance and accountability.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• ACCA or other chartered qualification preferred.
• Proficient English language skills.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in finance or 3+ years in FMCG finance within regional/global reporting environments.

Required skills

• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Experience with SAP.
• Experience with Microsoft Navision.
