Graduate Civil Engineer – Structural Design (On‑site)

About the role

CRTEC China Rail Transit Engineering Consultancy is looking for motivated graduate civil engineers to join its on‑site team in Addis Ababa. You will work under senior engineers, creating detailed structural drawings for industrial and infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare structural construction drawings for factory civil structures, steel workshops, and industrial buildings.
• Develop detailed drawings for equipment foundations, plant supporting frames, pipe racks, and pipe support systems.
• Ensure all drawings strictly follow the structural calculation models supplied by the engineering team.
• Produce accurate AutoCAD drawings that meet project specifications and engineering standards.
• Coordinate with senior engineers and project teams to deliver drawings on schedule.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum CGPA of 3.0 (or equivalent).
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
