Head of Talent Management & Development

About the role

Inkomoko is seeking a senior leader to design, govern, and continuously improve its talent management and development strategies across multiple African countries. The Head of Talent Management & Development will act as a Center of Excellence, creating frameworks and programmes that strengthen leadership capability, succession readiness, employee growth, and overall organisational effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute talent review and calibration processes organisation‑wide.
• Develop and implement succession planning frameworks for executive, leadership and critical roles.
• Establish methodologies to identify, assess and develop high‑potential talent.
• Design and manage talent acceleration and leadership development programmes.
• Drive internal mobility strategies to maximise talent utilisation and career growth.
• Monitor bench strength, succession readiness and critical talent risks.
• Partner with senior leaders to address workforce capability gaps.
• Lead strategic talent discussions with the Executive Leadership team and provide recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading talent management, succession planning or leadership development at a senior level.
• Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive organisational change.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Experience working in multi‑country or multicultural environments, preferably in Africa.
