Junior Account Executive

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Account Executive to join our growing team at Velocity Marketing in Addis Ababa. The role focuses on supporting client relationships, assisting in business development, and ensuring smooth delivery of marketing projects.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong, long‑lasting relationships with existing clients, understanding their objectives and representing their interests internally.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within current accounts and assist in acquiring new clients.
• Coordinate with internal creative and production teams to ensure timely delivery of campaigns and projects.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client communications, providing regular updates on project progress.
• Track key account metrics and prepare status reports for internal and client review.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years of experience managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Outgoing, sociable temperament and a proactive attitude.
