Junior Legal Associate (Fresh Graduates 2025-2026)

About the role

Eyasu Mekonen and Associates Law Office is hiring junior associates in Addis Ababa, open to fresh graduates of the class of 2025 and 2026. The role suits graduates who want real work from day one, working alongside senior counsel on live files rather than watching from the sidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Research Ethiopian law and draft legal memos
• Support litigation and arbitration files, including pleadings and case preparation
• Assist on regulatory compliance work
• Attend client meetings and take accurate notes
• Manage files, deadlines and correspondence

Required profile

• LLB from a recognized university, graduated in 2025 or 2026
• Strong written and spoken English and Amharic
