Junior Non-Key Expert – Digital Connectivity for Agriculture & Education

About the role

NTU International is seeking three Junior Non-Key Experts to support a Digital Connectivity Study focused on agriculture and education across the African Union member states. The assignment is part of the PRIDA II project and will be based at the AU Commission premises in Addis Ababa, with most work performed remotely or on mission.

Key responsibilities

• Assess bandwidth availability, quality, cost and adoption of connectivity services for rural agriculture and education across AU regions.
• Evaluate affordable connectivity options, analysing technical, economic and regulatory feasibility for underserved areas.
• Review and develop sustainable financing, pricing and discount‑rate models for connectivity services.
• Develop policy and implementation strategies to promote sustainable digital connectivity, aligning with AU and national frameworks.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Communications, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science/ICT/IT, Economics or Law from a reputable university.
• Minimum three years of experience in connectivity market development in developing or emerging economies.
