Junior Nurse Professional

About the role

Washington Healthcare Plc (WHC) is seeking a Junior Nurse Professional to join its multidisciplinary team in Addis Ababa. The role involves delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients across a range of specialties within a 24‑hour secondary care facility.

Key responsibilities

• Identify patients’ care needs and provide appropriate nursing interventions.
• Offer psychological and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Assess, monitor, and report patients’ conditions, including vital signs.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist with routine diagnostic procedures.
• Administer prescribed medications, injections, and first‑aid care during minor emergencies.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document all care provided.
• Follow clinical standards, safety procedures, and infection‑prevention protocols.
• Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Commitment to professional ethics and patient confidentiality.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
