Licensed Audit Consultant (Addis Ababa)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, licensed auditor based in Addis Ababa to conduct a confidential financial review. The consultant will examine accounting records, reconcile financial data, and produce a clear written report of findings.

Key responsibilities

• Review accounting records, financial statements, ledgers, and supporting documents.
• Reconcile transactions and account balances across available records.
• Assess record‑keeping practices and identify missing or inconsistent information.
• Document procedures performed, findings, and limitations.
• Prepare a concise report and discuss findings with the engagement team.

Required profile

• Current Ethiopian audit license in good standing.
• Demonstrated experience in audit, assurance, or forensic financial review work.
• Excellent written reporting and professional judgment.
• Ability to work independently and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Based in Addis Ababa and available for a project‑based engagement.
• Fluent in English and Amharic.
