Marketing Intern

About the role

The Marketing Intern will join Africa Digital Highway’s marketing team in Addis Ababa, supporting day‑to‑day activities that drive the company’s digital transformation initiatives. Working full‑time on‑site, the intern will assist in planning and executing both digital and offline campaigns while gaining hands‑on experience in market research and customer engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in campaign planning, preparation of marketing materials and execution of digital and offline initiatives.
• Conduct market and competitor research, gather customer insights and contribute to sales and promotional activities.
• Manage social media posts, maintain marketing databases and support events or outreach programs.
• Report on campaign performance and provide feedback to internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer service abilities for engaging with teams, clients and partners.
• Experience or coursework in market research, marketing strategy and basic sales support.
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site, manage multiple tasks and show initiative in a fast‑paced environment.
