Marketing Manager

About the role

The Sales & Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies for a leading importer and distributor of construction finishing materials. This role focuses on revenue growth, expanding the customer base, and strengthening market position.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing plans.
• Lead and support the sales team to achieve monthly and annual targets.
• Identify new customers, projects, dealers, and business opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, developers, architects, interior designers, and other key stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer preferences.
• Manage promotional campaigns, digital marketing initiatives, exhibitions, and product launches.
• Coordinate with the Social Media Team to boost brand awareness and generate leads.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales and marketing performance reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, Sales or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant marketing experience, preferably in construction or building materials.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets and acquire new customers.
• Strong knowledge of sales and marketing strategies.
• Excellent negotiation and customer relationship management skills.
• Effective leadership and team coordination abilities.
• Fluent in English and Amharic with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to a multicultural, foreign‑managed environment.
