Merchant Operations Officer

About the role

The Merchant Operations Officer will join Yagout Pay Financial Technology to support the onboarding, activation, and ongoing management of merchant partners. You will act as a key liaison between merchants and internal teams, ensuring smooth transaction processing and high satisfaction levels. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in banking, fintech, or customer support who enjoy problem‑solving in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Onboard new merchants and verify their information.
• Activate merchant accounts and associated payment devices.
• Monitor transactions and settlements to detect anomalies.
• Provide timely support and resolve merchant issues.
• Deliver training sessions and maintain accurate merchant records.

Required profile

• BA degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in banking, fintech, customer support, or merchant operations.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Basic Microsoft Office proficiency.
