Packaging Senior Operator – Production

About the role

The Packaging Senior Operator ensures safe and efficient operation of simple packaging machines in a production environment. You will be responsible for maintaining quality, food safety and environmental standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and shut down/start up packaging equipment according to SOPs and seasonal demand.
• Perform quality and food‑safety checks, report deviations and participate in root‑cause analyses (DAS, RCFA).
• Identify safety, water and energy losses, apply LSR principles and take corrective actions.
• Execute cleaning, disinfection and CILT tagging processes to meet recipe and hygiene standards.
• Use digital tools to record shift handover, downtime and performance data.
• Support TPM, Kaizen and 5S activities to reduce losses and improve plant performance.
• Carry out basic maintenance tasks on packaging machines.

• Commitment to environmental and food‑safety standards (HACCP, 5S).
• Proactive attitude towards continuous improvement and loss reduction.
• Ability to work on shift patterns and follow detailed SOPs.
