Planning Engineer – Transmission Line Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer to support transmission line projects in Ethiopia. The role involves creating and maintaining detailed schedules, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring projects stay on track.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and timelines to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather data and support planning activities.
• Analyze project requirements and constraints to create efficient and achievable project plans.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and update schedules accordingly.
• Prepare progress reports, performance summaries, and presentations for management review.

Required profile

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in project planning and scheduling.
• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Civil Engineering (Regular).
• Proficient in Primavera P6 for project planning and scheduling.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project management principles.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to perform in a fast‑paced, dynamic work environment.
• Project experience in transmission line projects above 400 kV.
