Project Officer – Program & Operational Support

About the role

The Project Officer will support the Country Representative in delivering Catalyste+'s development programmes in Ethiopia. This role combines programme coordination, stakeholder engagement and logistical support to ensure smooth implementation of projects aligned with donor priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in stakeholder consultations to shape programme strategies and integrate local knowledge.
• Assist in partnership development, assignment design and donor reporting to meet country targets.
• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding and logistical support for Catalyste+ Advisors in collaboration with the Volunteer Services department.
• Support Advisors in executing work plans that align with programme objectives and organisational policies.
• Gather content and help produce communications and marketing materials showcasing project impact.
• Represent Catalyste+ at meetings and events as a brand ambassador when required.
• Collaborate with Volunteer Services to manage arrivals, placements and departures of Advisors, including travel arrangements and accommodation.
• Organise meetings between Advisors and partners, vet vendors, and maintain programme documentation.
• Ensure compliance with security, emergency preparedness, code of conduct and other organisational policies.

Required profile

• Strong organisational and coordination abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and support a senior manager.
• Attention to detail and commitment to compliance with policies.
• Flexibility to travel within Ethiopia and adapt to changing programme needs.
