Remote VQI Registry Abstractor

About the role

American Data Network is seeking experienced VQI Registry Abstractors to provide accurate and timely vascular registry abstraction for its healthcare clients. This fully remote position allows you to work independently, reviewing clinical documentation and entering data into designated registry platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Review patient medical records and abstract data for the Vascular Quality Initiative (VQI) Registry.
• Apply registry specifications, inclusion/exclusion criteria, and abstraction guidelines consistently.
• Interpret clinical documentation related to vascular procedures, outcomes, and complications.
• Enter complete and accurate data into registry platforms, EHRs, or vendor tools.
• Maintain high abstraction accuracy and meet weekly productivity and deadline targets.
• Participate in quality‑assurance activities such as feedback, validation, and inter‑rater reliability reviews.
• Communicate professionally with account leads, team members, and client contacts for clarifications.
• Ensure strict confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and data‑security policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years recent experience abstracting VQI Registry data.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow‑through.
• Comfort navigating multiple EHR systems, registry platforms, and vendor tools.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• For contractors: high‑speed secure internet connection and a PC or laptop.
