Research Associate – Part‑Time (Hybrid)

About the role

The Research Associate will join an interdisciplinary team conducting a five‑year field evaluation of legal financial obligations and their impact on justice‑involved individuals. This part‑time, hybrid position supports data collection, project management, and scholarly output for a grant‑funded research program.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate data collection, coding, cleaning, and analysis for multiple research projects.
• Manage research schedules, deadlines, and communication among team members and agency partners.
• Prepare interim and final reports for sponsors and funding agencies.
• Assist in drafting and publishing research manuscripts, including co‑authoring papers.
• Support the implementation of an intervention that alleviates debts for participants in a post‑sentencing diversion program.
• Perform other duties as assigned by project investigators.

Required profile

• Minimum of a Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with research data management and quantitative analysis.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid/flexible work setting.
• Strong written communication skills for report and manuscript preparation.
