Safety, Quality & Environment Technician (SHEQ)

About the role

The Safety, Quality & Environment (SHEQ) Technician will develop and monitor the implementation of requirements associated with the integrated management system, focusing on safety. The role ensures compliance with legal, internal, regulatory and contractual obligations and supports training and awareness for workers and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and monitor SHEQ requirements implementation, especially safety aspects.
• Guarantee compliance with legal, internal, regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Provide training, information and awareness for employees and subcontractors, managing related documentation.
• Prepare SHEQ reporting at contractual, project and market levels.

Required profile

• Occupational hygiene and safety technician trainer certificate (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in safety management for mining projects.
• Fluent in English and holder of an international driving licence.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Required skills

• Solid knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools.
• Experience with SAP (preferred).
