Senior Accountant – Global Finance Operations

About the role

Kagool is looking for a highly experienced Senior Accountant to lead its global finance operations. You will own end‑to‑end accounting across multiple entities, ensuring accurate reporting in multiple currencies and compliance with international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead finance operations for all global entities, overseeing month‑end and year‑end closes.
• Prepare and consolidate local and international financial statements in line with IFRS.
• Manage multi‑currency accounting, including foreign‑exchange translation and revaluation.
• Oversee intercompany transactions, ensuring timely reconciliation.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors and internal stakeholders to maintain compliance and transparency.
• Continuously improve and standardise financial processes and controls across geographies.
• Mentor and develop a high‑performing finance team.

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a senior or managerial role.
• Proven track record managing the full finance function – AP/AR, general ledger, reporting, tax and audit.
• Hands‑on experience with global financial operations and intercompany accounting.
• Strong understanding of multi‑currency accounting and consolidation in a multinational environment.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking and leadership abilities.
