About the role

The Ethiopian Reinsurance Share Company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team on a permanent basis. The role involves handling accounting functions specific to the insurance and reinsurance sector, supporting both operational and financial activities.

Required profile

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Seven (7) years of directly related experience in insurance or reinsurance, including at least five (5) years as an Accountant or Reinsurance Accountant, OR six (6) years of experience with at least four (4) years in an accounting role within the sector.
Experience in both operations and accounting, particularly in debt collection, is advantageous.
Customer service and account management experience.
