SVIP & Channel Specialist – African Region

About the role

We are looking for an English‑ and Amharic‑speaking Channel Specialist to lead our voice‑chat business in the African market. The role will own channel development, partner management and VIP client relations, driving growth and market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full channel lifecycle – recruit, onboard and train new partners on platform rules, functions and operations.
• Develop local market resources and strategic partnerships with MCNs, telecom operators and other stakeholders to support business goals.
• Act as the primary point of contact for SVIP clients, handling complex requests, building long‑term relationships and identifying upsell opportunities.
• Monitor market trends and platform needs, contributing to local operational strategies aimed at increasing market share.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and Amharic (minimum B2 level).
• BA/BS degree in Business, Sales or a related field.
• Proven experience in account management, sales or other client‑facing roles.
• Goal‑oriented team player with strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Flexibility to work on a rotating Saturday schedule.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
