Technical Lead, RSV Vaccine Introduction Project

About the role

PATH is seeking a Technical Lead to drive the introduction of the RSV vaccine in Ethiopia. Based in Addis Ababa, the role will provide technical leadership to support decision‑making for the RSV vaccine within the national immunization program.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the MIRNA team to generate health‑economic evidence for Ministry of Health prioritization.
• Review, summarize and contextualize WHO SAGE recommendations for inclusion in Ethiopia’s evidence compendium.
• Contribute to evidence synthesis presentations for the national NITAG.
• Support stakeholder mapping and evidence dissemination among policy makers.
• Develop and implement advocacy and communication (A&C) strategies and tools.
• Facilitate A&C workshops and coordinate with EPI on Gavi application dossiers.
• Customize and oversee NVI readiness assessment tools and technical assessments.
• Prepare presentations for the Immunization Coordinating Committee and disseminate readiness findings to national task forces and partners.
• Develop terms of reference for coordination bodies and document TWG meetings.
• Represent PATH in official meetings, workshops, and regular RSV TWG sessions.

Required profile

• Experience supporting RSV vaccine decision‑making in Ethiopia.
• Proven ability to work with MIRNA and national/sub‑national EPI teams.
• Familiarity with WHO SAGE recommendations and national immunization guidelines.
• Strong analytical background in health‑economic evidence generation.
