About the role
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Ethiopia is offering multiple internship positions for 2026. Interns will gain hands‑on experience supporting the Country Programme Document (CPD) 2025‑2030, which aligns with Ethiopia’s Ten‑Year Development Plan and broader UNDP strategic priorities.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct thematic research and assist in drafting integrated programme briefs and concept notes.
- Map and document government, UN, private‑sector and civil‑society partners relevant to CPD priority areas.
- Prepare materials for coordination meetings with UN agencies, development partners and implementing partners.
- Support results reporting, data collection, SDG indicator tracking and visualization exercises.
- Draft minutes, event documentation, human‑interest stories, and impact briefs.
- Assist in organising learning events, workshops or consultations.
- Provide logistical and operational support, including documentation and digitalisation of processes.
- Undertake any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Required profile
- Work under the supervision of the assigned team leader.
