Volunteer Graphic Designer

About the role

AURA and Alenelachehu Charitable Organization are seeking a passionate Volunteer Graphic Designer to support the National Mental Health Action Lab in October at Kuriftu Resort, Entoto. This role offers the chance to contribute creative expertise to a high‑impact mental‑health event.

Key responsibilities

• Design and produce high‑quality visual content for event materials, signage, and digital assets.
• Create and adapt logos and branding elements to maintain a consistent visual identity.
• Develop clear, accessible layouts and typography for brochures, presentations, and promotional graphics.
• Collaborate with the event team, incorporate feedback, and ensure all designs follow brand guidelines.

Required profile

• Strong ability to generate visual content using core graphic design principles.
• Interest in mental‑health, social impact, or community‑focused initiatives.
• Prior experience with NGOs or advocacy projects is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator.
• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop.
• Proficiency with Adobe InDesign.
• Solid understanding of typography and layout design.
