VQI Registry Abstractor – Remote

About the role

American Data Network is seeking experienced VQI Registry Abstractors to perform accurate, timely vascular registry abstraction for healthcare clients. This remote position is ideal for professionals with recent hands‑on VQI abstraction experience who can work independently and meet strict quality and deadline requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review patient medical records and abstract data for the VQI Registry.
• Apply registry specifications, definitions, inclusion/exclusion criteria, and abstraction guidelines consistently.
• Interpret clinical documentation related to vascular procedures, diagnoses, treatments, outcomes, and complications.
• Enter complete and accurate data into registry platforms, EHRs, or vendor tools.
• Maintain high abstraction accuracy and meet weekly productivity and deadline targets.
• Participate in quality assurance activities such as feedback, validation, and inter‑rater reliability reviews.
• Communicate professionally with account leads, team members, and client contacts for clarifications.
• Ensure strict confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and data security policies.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years recent VQI Registry abstraction experience.
• Ability to independently abstract cases using registry specifications and clinical documentation.
• Strong understanding of healthcare quality reporting and medical record interpretation.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow‑through.
• Self‑motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.
