About the role

The Water Treatment Manager will lead the university’s water treatment, supply and wastewater operations in Addis Ababa. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures safe, reliable water services while supporting the institution’s environmental compliance goals.

Key responsibilities

Oversee daily water treatment processes and maintain water quality standards.
Manage water supply systems to guarantee continuous delivery to campus facilities.
Supervise wastewater treatment operations and ensure proper discharge compliance.
Handle account management for water services, including budgeting and vendor relations.
Coordinate overall operations management, troubleshooting issues and optimizing performance.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemistry or a related field.
Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, communication and leadership abilities.
