About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our consulting team in Addis Ababa. The role focuses on delivering accurate financial reporting, tax compliance, and bookkeeping services for our Ethiopian clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with local regulations.
  • Handle Ethiopian tax preparation, filing, and reporting.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger entries using Peachtree.
  • Support clients with bookkeeping and financial record keeping.
  • Identify and correct errors in financial records and ensure compliance.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Hands‑on experience with Peachtree accounting software.
  • Practical knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws and reporting requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
