Branch Business Relationship Manager – RMSME (Jimma)

About the role

The Branch Business Relationship Manager – RMSME will lead business development activities for the branch in Jimma, focusing on the Retail and MSME market segment. The role involves attracting, deepening, and managing financial relationships to achieve deposit and loan growth while promoting the bank's full suite of products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, lead, and control business development initiatives within the branch.
• Drive deposit and loan growth targets for Retail and MSME customers.
• Promote and sell additional banking products and services to existing clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior customers and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with credit, risk, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and coach the branch team to achieve performance goals.
• Identify and mitigate business risks while leveraging digital tools for efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing Management, Business Administration, Banking, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum six (6) years of relevant experience in retail or MSME banking.
• Proven track record in sales, negotiation and customer acquisition.
• Strong leadership, coaching and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
• Excellent understanding of credit, risk management and compliance.
