Civil Projects Manager – Infrastructure & Industrial Projects

About the role

The Manager Civil (Projects) will oversee planning, coordination, monitoring and control of all civil, infrastructure, industrial and expansion projects across the Raval Group in Ethiopia. Reporting to the Managing Director/Chairman, the role ensures timely delivery, cost control, quality compliance and effective stakeholder coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate civil, mechanical, electrical, utility and infrastructure projects across multiple locations.
• Develop project schedules, milestones, budgets and resource plans, ensuring adherence to approved timelines and budgets.
• Supervise civil construction activities including industrial buildings, factories, warehouses, roads, drainage, utilities and boundary works.
• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and verify accuracy and commercial viability.
• Monitor daily project progress, implement corrective actions for delays, quality issues or cost overruns.
• Negotiate with contractors, vendors and consultants to achieve favorable commercial terms.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and statutory approvals.

Required profile

• B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 8‑10 years of experience in rolling mill and SMS projects.
• Proven track record managing large‑scale industrial and infrastructure projects.
• Strong ability to liaise with management, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
