Construction Foreman

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Construction Foreman to lead daily on‑site activities for our residential and commercial projects in Addis Ababa. The role involves supervising crews, coordinating trades, and ensuring that work is performed safely, on schedule and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and direct construction crews, assigning tasks and monitoring progress.
• Coordinate carpentry, masonry and other trades, as well as the use of heavy equipment.
• Track material deliveries, usage and inventory to keep the project on schedule.
• Conduct quality control inspections of workmanship and materials.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
• Report daily progress and issues to project managers or engineers.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a foreman or site supervisor in building construction or real‑estate development.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and site layouts.
• Strong communication skills for directing crews and liaising with subcontractors.
• Capability to manage time, resources and resolve on‑site challenges under pressure.
