Deputy Program Manager – Program Operations (iWork)

About the role

The Deputy Program Manager – Program Operations will support the Program Manager in leading the iWork programme across all locations in Ethiopia. This role ensures day‑to‑day implementation, supervises Cluster Coordinators, and maintains consistent standards to achieve programme targets.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily implementation of programme activities across multiple locations.
• Supervise and mentor Cluster Coordinators to ensure quality delivery.
• Act as the operational bridge between national programme management and field teams.
• Uphold donor compliance, organisational policies, safeguarding standards and quality‑assurance frameworks.
• Monitor implementation progress, provide technical back‑stopping and solve operational problems.
• Strengthen collaboration with programme teams, partners and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in programme operations or operational leadership within an NGO or humanitarian context.
• Ability to ensure harmonised delivery across locations while maintaining donor and safeguarding compliance.
• Commitment to champion child and youth safeguarding policies, code of conduct and anti‑fraud measures.
